TONIGHT ON THE POLITICAL CHICK
Ever since it was declared an independent state in May of 1948, controversy has surrounded Israel. The Holocaust claimed the lives of 6,000,000 Jews, relocating displaced refugees caused more conflict. Then there was Egypt’s Six Day War with Israel and now it’s the raging conflict with Palestine and a nuclear giddy Iran. Last month, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the UN General Assembly that Iran’s quest for nuclear weapons was the greatest danger the world faces and that Israel will be compelled to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities if Western powers don’t impose serious sanctions against Tehran by the end of 2009. What are the options at hand – talks, sanctions, military action? Find out all the details with Col. Jack Jacobs, author of If Not Now, When? Also joining the program is Dr. Barry Parker, a member of the Sequoia group in New Jersey and his daughter, Danielle Parker, President of Danielle Parker Public Relations, and Constance Hilliard, author of Does Israel Have a Future? All the Chat about Israel starts tonight at 10pm on “The Political Chick.”
