The Profit Vise®, Inc. was founded by Gerry Buchman in May 2008. Gerry has more than twelve years of purchasing experience in the healthcare industry. His consulting career is built on a professional background in purchasing for large national companies as well as mid-size regional companies. He has most recently worked at BioScrip, where he was the Purchasing Manager responsible for managing the annual spend of over $500 million on pharmaceuticals and other healthcare products. He has also worked in supervisory and management capacities at Apria Healthcare, Homecare America, and Home Intensive Care (acquired by Fresenius). He has a B.B.A. in Finance from Eastern Michigan University.
The Profit Vise® is a consulting company that helps small businesses obtain the best value on the products and services that they consume. The Profit Vise® works with small businesses to identify the “dream team of vendors” in the marketplace who can best meet a client’s unique needs for price, service, reliability, responsiveness, and other vendor evaluation criteria.
Gerry launched his business because he foresaw a niche in the market to help small businesses to identify, evaluate, negotiate, manage, and develop strong relationships with the “best in class” vendors in the marketplace.
