Tree Museum: What can a tree tell you about a place? Well, along the Bronx New York’s Grand Concourse, they can tell you a lot. There, artist Katie Holten, has created the “Tree Museum” an audio tour that begins with trees lining the street but then delves into the stories, lives and history of the neighborhood it grows in. Katie talks with Dave about what the trees have to say.

Big Ranch get Big Green Award: Dave talks with the Tejon Ranch Company about receiving the Governor’s environmental award for stewardship, conservation and sustainable designs.

Hour Two:

Fuel: it’s more than what you put in your car: Filmmaker Josh Tickell goes on an exploration of the oil industry and energy in America to encourage a discussion of the effects of abusing our oil resources. He speaks with Dave about the culmination of 11 years of work in the documentary film, Fuel: uncovering America’s dirty little secret.
